O Pioneers!
The new video from Levi's Go Forth Campaign. I have been reading on a lot of blogs that a lot of people are not a fan of this commercial and are concerned of just what would Walt Whitman think about this. I am a fan.

Charity ('tis the season)
A charity I recently found that I am obsessed with - My Charity Water
Their mission: In September of 2008, over 800 people gave up birthday gifts and asked for donations from friends, family and strangers. Together with matching gifts, almost $1,000,000 was raised to bring clean water to people in Ethiopia. We knew they were on to something. Since then, we've been busy building a website where everybody can give up their birthday, but also use weddings, anniversaries and holidays - run marathons, climb mountains and jump out of planes - or just create a fundraising page to give people clean drinking water. Join us.

Innovation
This new idea for water bottles not only contain different minerals (and look awesome), but they can be turned into a sort of building-block toy for children (and adults alike).
This should have happened already... only problem I sense... PRICE ($)
Nifty anyhow and interestingly enough I can only find it at Toys 'R US.

Inspiration: Sea Legs
Song of the Day: Sea Legs
Sea Legs
Of all the churning random hearts
Under the sun
Eventually fading into night,
These two are opening now
As we lie, I touch you
Under fuller light
Girl, if you're a seascape
I'm a listing boat, for the thing carries every hope.
I invest in a single lie
The choice is yours to be loved
Come away from an emptier boat
'Cause when the dead moon
Rises again
be no time to stall or protocol
To hem us in.
And when the dog slides
Underneath a train,
There's no cry, no use to searching for
the mutt's remains.
Throw all consequence aside
and a cheerless pyre we will set alight.
Of all the intersecting lines in the sand
I routed a labyrinth to your lap
and never used a map sliding off the land
On an incidental tide,
And along the way you know, they tried
They tried
But we got sea legs
And we're off tonight
They can't have that to which they've no right
You belong to a simpler time
I'm a victim to the impact of these words,
And this rhyme.
'Cause when that dead moon
Rises again
We've no time to stall or protocol
To hem us in
Darling when the dog slides open the door,
and where’d she go?
There's no time, no use in searching for
The mutt's remains.
Throw all consequence aside
And a cheerless pyre we will set alight
Of all the churning random hearts
Under the sun
Eventually fading into night,
These two are opening now
As we lie, I touch you
Under fuller light
Girl, if you're a seascape

Colorless
"A convex logo substitutes colorfully sprayed can.
Naked can help to reduce air and water pollution occurred in
its coloring process. It also reduces energy and effort to separate
toxic color paint from aluminum in recycling process. Huge amount of
energy and paint required to manufacture colored cans will be saved.
Instead of toxic paint, manufacturers process aluminum with
a pressing machine that indicates brand identity on surface." - Behance Network
This is absolutely amazing. Hello eco-friendly coolness. Spread the word!!!

all you need is love
SONG OF THE DAY: ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE
The Beatles
(from the Blue Album)
Written by Lennon/McCartney
Love, love, love, love, love.
There's nothing you do than can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time -
It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now) All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

her story
Can you say moving? I love this classic image - taken in Italy in 1994 by National Geographic photographer William Albert Allard.
I want to know her story so badly.
I want to do research on just what her story is, but then again.. it's nice not to know.. maybe, I will just create one in my head. :)
