Do. Want.
So many posts, so little time. Finally, an incredible bookshelf that I would loooove to own one similar to one day. It was created around existing sprinkler heads and pipes, and this is the finished product...

Lovely
Jim Denevan's sand art is created only by his feet, a stick, and other natural elements. It is simply breathtaking. Here are a few samples.

Whoa.
WHOA. There are no other words. (I feel so small). Watch the whole thing - it is powerful.

This scares me
Stargate Studios is a tricky topic for me. Their green-screen transformations are magnificent, but it really does make me sad that actors are not actually traveling as much. I miss the days before CGI. For instance, Avatar, while beautiful has very little plot. What does this mean for the future of film?

Apple
Just a little rant. I bought AppleCare Protection through 2011 and every single time I take my computer in to the Apple store they tell me they cannot help me until they SEE the problem. Well my computer freezes (especially the touchpad) sporadically, so there is no proof. They tell me to take a video of it through QuickTime, but IT IS FROZEN. Gahhh. If I take my computer to someone who will actually help, it negates my plan. I am stuck. This blows.
OK, off my chest.

see-through laptop?!
At the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show in Vegas, Samsung showed off their new see-through screen (notice the hand behind the image). This is something unexpected. What if you scratch it? (Maybe I am lame) Keep an eye out for more information.
